The Star Gazette reports that a man was injured in a single-vehicle New York auto accident.

The New York auto accident happened when the 18-year-old driver lost control of his vehicle, went off the side of the road, and hit a drainage pipe.

The vehicle went airborne when it left the roadway, then landed on its side. The driver was trapped inside the vehicle following the New York auto accident and had to be freed by emergency workers.

Deputies report that high speed was a contributing factor in the New York auto accident.

SUV crashed into home in Syracuse auto accident

The Post-Standard reports that a police pursuit ended causing a Syracuse auto accident when crashing into a home.

Police saw an SUV running red lights and disregarding traffic signs, and attempted to pull over the vehicle. The vehicle failed to negotiate a turn, and crashed into a garage attached to a home.

The driver entered the home and was found a short time later hiding in the bathroom. A female resident of the home fled the house when she saw that a man was inside. As she exited the house, she fell and hit her head, and she had to be taken to the hospital to be treated for injuries.

Boy injured after being struck by car

Two teens injured in Utica auto accident

WKTV reports that two teens were seriously injured in a Utica auto accident. According to witnesses at the scene, the vehicle driven by a 17-year-old male may have been traveling at speeds between 80-90 mph when it crashed into a tree.

The Utica driver and front-seat passenger suffered serious head injuries in the Utica auto accident. Two other passengers suffered serious but non-life threatening injuries. One of the passers told Utica police that they were at a local bar before the accident. However, the owner denied the teens were in his establishment.

Police are investigating if alcohol played a factor in the Utica auto accident.
